Who are we?
We are Piritta and Niina, two Finnish women traveling overland in Africa in a Land Rover Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Puma called the “Honey Badger.”
We have been zigzagging the “Mother Continent” for over four years and counting – as we are not planning to stop!
We planned our “escape to freedom” for many years before we actually did it. But beginning something is the easy part. Sticking with it is the hard one.
As reality kicks in, it’s not everyone that will continue, despite the hardships, breakdowns, uncertainty, etc… You name it.
But we have pushed through every obstacle that has come our way during the years, and we continue doing it for as long as it takes and as long as we like. Why? Because living a life that looks 110% like you is more than worth it!
And because living outside of your comfort zone teaches you so much more about yourself, about life, about everything.
And because, most of all, life is for living. Now. You never know what tomorrow brings, so don’t wait too long to make your dreams come true and enjoy life the way you want to.
